A huge part of Knutpunkt consists of the social interactions - which leads us to: the social programme! It can be a themed party, games, or a ritual. A DJ set, a way to meet new people, or a cheese tasting. Your imagination sets the limits!
This year's theme party
The theme for this year's big Saturday party is ”Seasons of larp”. This means precisely what you want it to mean; it could be clothing inspired by a season, dressing up as an old crazy cat lady, putting on your very first larp costume, or just wearing your best chili pepper outfit. And we, of course, encourage you to organise social programme items corresponding to the theme, but it’s definitely not mandatory to do so!
How to party
At the Conference hall:
Please note that you are not allowed to bring your own alcohol to the Conference hall.
- Dancefloor
Each night, the dancefloor and the bar are open! Music, light, glitter, bodies, and sweat. Bring it all to the dancefloor 💃DJ:s will be playing on the dancefloor between 10 pm - 01 am every day! - One-hour room parties
As tradition states, one way to party at Knutpunkt is to have one-hour room parties! It’s a fun and creative way to do something very specific for one hour, explore a theme, a feeling, or listen to some special kind of music.
Up until 1 am, there will be rooms above the bar and dancefloor area where you can participate in one-hour room parties. These rooms have a sound systems and a projector, and you are allowed to bring alcohol from the bar to these rooms. - Sober area
The room Westmark is our sober space. Please feel free to throw parties here as well! But be mindful not to venture into this room if you have had some drinks.
At the Hotel:
- Underground clubs
At 1 am, the conference hall closes, but the parties continue! Some of you will be living in the party area - rooms close to each other where parties are allowed. We call them underground clubs, speakeasies, blind pigs, smugkro, salakapakka, hemmelig drikkebule, and svartklubbar. In these rooms, you can have your own alcohol, and you need to bring your own small speaker if desired.
These clubs are, of course, very, very secret 🤫 and will not be advertised in the official programme. They will instead be announced by you in the channel #kp26-undergroundclubs in our Discord. Feel free to make signs for your rooms if wanted! - Booze Patrol
Our heroes that will help us protect the parties! ⭐ It's strictly forbidden to have opened alcohol in the corridors, and Booze Patrol will help us keep the parties going - since we risk closing down all underground clubs if we break these rules.
