When the infodesk is open, we ask you to direct all your questions there, and they’ll help you get in touch with other members of the crew if that’s what you need (for example, community hosts or logistics). When the infodesk is closed, you can reach the crew by calling the following numbers:

In case of emergencies

The emergency phone number in Sweden is 112. You will reach the ambulance, police, and fire department on this number.

The infodesk and the community hosts have medkits containing painkillers, plasters, bandages, etc. There are medical professionals on the community host team who can help you with more serious issues, and get you in touch with Swedish health care.

In case of a fire, follow the instructions of the crew and staff. Make sure you are aware of your nearest exits and evacuation plans.

Check in

Check-in will open at 16:00 on Thursday. Follow the signs and instructions on site.

Check out

You check out by leaving your key card at the hotel front desk. You need to be checked out of your rooms by 11:00 on Sunday. You can leave your luggage at the conference hall between check-out and the closing ceremony. As soon as the closing ceremony is over, however, you and your luggage need to leave the conference hall as soon as possible, so that we can start (and finish) cleaning on time.

Getting to the venue

The nearest ferry stop is Eriksbergs färjeläge, and the nearest bus stop is Eriksbergstorget. To plan your trip and get tickets for public transport, go to https://www.vasttrafik.se/en/ or their app Västtrafik To Go. We recommend taking the ferry for the more scenic route!

To get to the location from other parts of Gothenburg (and some of the nearby municipalities), you need a ticket for Zone A. Read more about different ways to buy a ticket for public transport here: https://www.vasttrafik.se/en/travel-with-us/fore-the-journey/kopa-ticket/

If you arrive by car, there are a lot of parking spaces around the hotel. The closest one is on Maskingatan, a bit further away is Barchmanns plats or Säterigatan. All of these cost around 100 SEK/day. To pay for parking, download one of the apps Parkering Göteborg or Easypark. Pay close attention to the signs to make sure that you park correctly!

Food and drinks

Breakfast will be served at the hotel from 6.30-9.00 on Friday, and from 7.30-10.30 on Saturday and Sunday. Breakfast is not included for participants with day tickets.

Lunch and dinner will be served at the conference hall. The meal times are 12.00-14.00 and 18.00-21.00 on all days. No lunch will be served on Sunday.

The only place where you can drink alcohol that you have brought with you yourself is in the hotel rooms (that is, inside the rooms, not the corridors, lobby, etc.).

To sign up for programme items with a limited number of spots, go to the schedule (or the programme page), click on the programme item you want to sign up for, and click on “register”. If the button says “full” instead of “register”, the programme item is full. Remember to unregister from the programme item if you decide not to attend, to open up your spot to someone else!

If you want to add an impromptu programme or social item:

  1. Fill out the https://knutpunkt.se/program-item/register/impromptu/
  2. Go to the infodesk and ask them to help you find a slot in the schedule for your programme item

If you want to move your programme or social item, go to the infodesk, and they will help you out.

If you want to cancel your programme or social item, go to MyKP, edit your programme item, and write CANCELLED in front of the title of your programme item.
