We want all our participants to feel safe and have fun at Knutpunkt, regardless of age! We allow minors to attend if they are 16 years old or older at the start of the event.
As a minor at KP, you agree to abide by the following:
Be accompanied by an adult
You must have a responsible adult accompany you during the event, and you need to inform us of their name. The adult in question is responsible for your safety, conduct, and behaviour throughout the event. This includes, but is not limited to, you following national regulations and KP's community guidelines, as well as checking in on your mental and social well-being. They are also responsible for getting you home safely if you need to leave the event earlier than expected.
Don’t drink alcohol
According to Swedish law, people younger than 18 are not allowed to drink alcohol, and thus, you are not allowed to drink alcohol during Knutpunkt.
Wear a marking
To help minors recognise each other and to ensure that adults treat minors age-appropriately, you will have to wear a special marking. This marking will be provided by us and will be a wristband or a specific marking on your name tag.
Consequences
If it comes to our knowledge that you haven't been abiding to our guidelines or national legislation, that your behaviour has been inappropriate in other ways or that your participation at KP is unsafe for yourself or your co-participants, we might need to send you home. If this were the case, the accompanied adult would be responsible for getting you home safely.
As organisers, we will provide you with the following:
Community hosts
We have five community hosts who can help you if you feel discomfort or experience a tricky situation that you don’t really know how to handle.
Alcohol free spaces
There will be some spaces where alcohol is forbidden. Do keep in mind that alcohol might be present in most of the spaces at the venue during the evening.
A youth community
We will help you get in contact with other young people attending the event from other countries, and will try to place you in rooms close to each other if possible.
